BTS Underground Health & Safety Course 2021
Four of the LBA team will be speaking at the annual BTS Health & Safety course on 22nd & 23rd November, sharing their knowledge, experience and lessons learned.
This is an invaluable course which many at LBA have benefitted from over the years, and we are always delighted to support it.
This year, LBA’s contributors will be:
- Bob Allen, a founder and current Director of LBA, speaking about Ground Risks, Identification and Mitigation.
- Dave Terry, a Director of LBA, sharing his knowledge of Risk Management.
- Dave Harold, an Associate of LBA and a former member of the Fire and Rescue Service, sharing his experience of emergency response management. This will include response planning, controls, equipment, organisation, procedures & training.
- Bob Ibell, a founder, former Chairman, former MD and current Director of LBA, and a past Chair of the BTS, debating against John Carroll of JJ Carroll Associates, on the subject of “Health and Safety is one of the major issues to be addressed if we are to improve the construction industry’s productivity” / Is H & S the Industry’s Productivity problem?
In addition to our four contributors, several members of LBA will be attending the course, enhancing their knowledge of Health & Safety in our industry, and meeting their peers.
